Meet The People Behind i can make it myself

Deborah Segaert

With a combined background of craft, printing and publishing, it was a natural progression for Deborah to move into the role of running her own publishing business in the late 90s. Since then Pride Publishing has grown at an impressive pace, producing high-quality magazines and books and complementary events and workshops for crafters. Deborah has four children and divides her time between business and family activities and, when time allows, quiltmaking.

An avid crafter since the age of two, Fiona’s lust for creativity has expressed itself in many forms. With an early desire to become a chef or interior designer, her love for the written word ultimately led Fiona to journalism. After years of experimenting with different crafts and working on some of Australia’s favourite craft and creative lifestyle magazines, Fiona is now fortunate enough to indulge her passion for crafts at i can make it myself.
